I am a 13 year old girly girl. I would tell you to get a poster of Gone with the Wind. I WOULD NOT get a poster of 13 going on 30 for a classic movie. That is just what I would do. I love the movie Gone with the Wind. If you have not seen that movie I highly recommend it.

Well, since I am a 13 year old girly girl, I am kinda a really good judge of this.

Here are the movies that I would want a poster of:

Titanic
The Notebook
Gone With the Wind
Dirty Dancing

...that's just a few examples...

"Say Anything ..." Yep it might be stretching the definition of a classic but in my personal opinion, not far. I used to have an old black & white poster for the movie that showed the scene with Lloyd holding the boombox over his head, and I'm sure you could find it somewhere (the one with the Peter Gabriel lyrics printed on it, see the reference link below). It's such an iconic scene that's been referenced so many time I think even a 13 year old girl today would still "get it". Not to mention it's such a great film, no matter how old you are.

Thirteen year old girls don't want posters of "Classic Movies".

Closest things she may like are:

The Princess Bride
Pretty In Pink
Who's That Girl?
Dazed and Confused
Titanic
Dirty Dancing
and, Craft

As for clasics:

Gone With The Wind
The Great Gatsby
The Seven Year Itch
Rebel Without A Cause
Casablanca
An Affair To Remember
and Gilda.

13 going on 30 is perfect for her. But if she wants real 80s movie that was really made in the 80s, get a poster of Breakfats Club, Sixteen Candles, or Pretty in Pink. I think Saint Elmo's fire might be a bit too much for a little 13 year old. Or Ferris Bueller's day of.

No wait...Star Wars!!!!!

MY Fair Lady, or Breakfast at Tiffanys. are 2 good ones. 13 going on 30 is far from a classic movie.
