I wish their was some way to travel back in time because I think a lot can still learned from the past. I mean their are so many different times periods prior to indoor plumbing I could not select just one. If I was offered the same deal as Doctor Faustus, I don't know if I could resist the temptation to meet such important and historical people.

It would certainly be an adventure to try for a few days, but I think most would find it a very harsh world without any modern conveniences: laundry would all have to be done by hand, most meals would take quite a bit of preparation, and no refrigerator, no automatic stove, all produce either grown or preserved by ourselves, no central heat or a/c, etc. Just a few examples. The upside would be the peace and quiet, the art of conversation would be alive again, simple things treasured, a sense of family, and community, cleaner air, ah yes....but then there's that nagging uneasiness - no indoor plumbing...

No way....I thrive on technology and new things that come out. I LOVE cars. If a man can't make me orgasm, a good engine revving can!!! ;o) I could live without a TV, but in no way whatsoever could I live without my computer or indoor plumbing. I know that sometimes changes in technology can be overwhelming, but I find it exciting!! I think I would be bored if I had been born prior to the industrial revolution!! :o)

NO!
I like having tv and computers. I live way out in the country so I don't have to deal with a bunch of people around me. I do live in those days but I have tv and power and flushing toilets.

I definitely have my moments, there's something beautiful and enticing about the "olden days", but I'm also very thankful for modern advances in medicine, and I like my running water, lights, and heat.

Well, if the life in the past is more simple and carefree and relaxing, i really would love to... I mean that, i don't like life style now which is now fast-paced and stressful. It reduces my life span also
