It's all perspective. Spanish seems confusing to someone who only speaks English, but English seems just as confusing to someone who only speaks Spanish.

Men and women's brains are not only wired somewhat differently because of the influence of hormones, but also men and women are generally raised in very different social settings. Thus women have emotional and psychological needs that men don't have (or have to a much lesser extent) and thus don't understand and vice versa. For instance, young girls are encouraged to be in touch with their feelings whereas boys are not and are often even mocked for expressing them. This leads them to differ later in life. Women might say men repress their feelings or are out of touch with them. Men might claim to be better at being rational all of the time instead of letting emotions influence their decisions. Anyway, that is just one possible example. Maybe these differences developed way back when men and women had very different roles - each developed a "culture" that worked for what they spent most of their time doing.

Men and women are both complicated creatures, when you are a man you don't think you are, I'm sure it's the same with women. We don't understand women because we don't think the same or act the same as women do, and some could say it's because we don't truly want to understand them deep inside of ourselves, it would take away all the mystery and then what fun would life be.

No real offense meant to my gender, and I'm guilty on some levels, but many of the male of the species is not as evolved as our female counterparts and in effect are still within arms reach of "the cave",,,

Beyond that, "WE" also don't often regard women, on so many levels, and their aspects. That isn't strictly done with disrespect as much as it happens in our inert,,,or inate ignorance.

With experience, tolerance, acceptance, we BOTH can gain understanding about the other,,even if only on a very close, narrowly defined, personal level, with someone we are directly involved with. If we gain knowledge in that way, on whatever levels we can,,, that can transfer itself to all others.

Men think of things in one block at a time. Women think about a zillion things at a time. Knowing this you have to slow down for men to catch up.

Because most of us are rigid and can only consider events from our point of view. This is the immediate reaction, anyway. Stubborness then comes into play which may cement this narrow minded reaction. Holistic or informed analysis may only take place after a period of time and after much labourious cogitation.

Women are more complex. Men are actually pretty easy to understand. I feel sorry for them!

They don't understand us because their brains are wired differently. Womens are wired so our neurons fire between the two halves a lot more than theirs do. This allows us to be more complex thinkers, better multi-taskers and better at communication.

I think it will always be this way.....it's just nature.
