i cant believe germany lost.any comments?

The Italian coach risked all with his substitutions but it paid off. The Germans were too nervous in the extra time to play a good game.. In the end , soccer is about scores and not tactics or handeling the ball.

That game was AWESOME. Germany did play a great game though. Too bad Italy is such a power house. And those two goals at the end.....WOW! Its deffinitly Italys time to win another World cup.

I can only reiterate what Liza said.. it was truly magical when Italy got those two amazing goals - BOTH IN THE LAST 1min30sec!!!!.. it was an amazing game to watch!!!! Back and forth; EACH team so strong; no one knowing who was going to win - though at the last few minutes the commentators were betting on 'the penalty shoot out' - but WOW!!! Italy did NOT get "lucky" - they did not give up (even with a 50,000 German fan stadium screaming); they kept up their offence and defence to the bitter end.. for if we look at the history of the Italian World Cup team, they did not want to go to the shoot out - not the best way to win or loose - meaning they prefer to win when playing in regulation time.. way to go Italy and Germany... great great game to the both of you - amazing!!! Congratulations to both of them!!

I saw it and I am very happy that Italy won. I didn't want Germany in the finals.

Man it was one hot game. Those two goals that Italy scored were magical. They're going to be replaying this for years to come. Great match!!! This is what the World Cup is all about.

I supported Germany, too ...
I know they've played well, but unfortunately they couldn't score.
And Italy was superb in the extra time... have to admit.
Italy deserved to win ... and I now support them. Wanna join me?

yeah i watched it, so did a lot of people. It was a fairly humdrum game, but then i missed the last 5 minutes, with all the goals :(. bummer about the germans being out.
