I agree. North Korea is like that kid in the neighborhood who used to start trouble. They couldn't beat a carpet, but always talked like they were so tough. Finally, you've had enough of them and give them a good thumping. The next day, they were back out there doing the same thing again.
I think we need to be careful with these idiots. If they get China on their side, then might start WWIII.

Seeing Bush do nothing about Kim Jong Ill (not just now, but when he was keeping inspectors out years earlier) gets to show the world what a coward he truly is. He's supposed to be the tough-talkin', take-no-guff kind of President. Kim Jong Ill called his bluff. He'll only attack weak, impotent, oil-rich nations that don't have the resources to actually build nuclear weapons. Suddenly Bush is in favor of "talks" and utilizing the United Nations, when he was so busy dismissing those "wimpy" and "ineffective" options before.

The government wants you to think so. So we can blow off some more spent uranium before someone passes a law against it.
Kim Jong il is just another looney nutcase. If he was really a problem, he would be taken out. If he had any oil, he would have been taken out long ago.
We have no 'American Interests' in N. Korea to speak of, so until they find something like chromium or oil in their mountains and jungles, we have no corporations (other than weapons companies) willing to lobby our government to go there.

If he keeps firing off missiles, we'll have to deal with him. But Kim Jong Il is not the next Hitler. That distinction goes to Ahmadenijad of Iran.

Ki Jong II may be less dangerous now than he was earlier today. It seems the damn fool gave his military the go ahead to launch that missile earlier today. Well, it seems the missile blew up shortly after launch. How humiliating is that! This silly little midget can't even start a nuclear war properly. The question now is, how much of his ineptness is the N.Korean army prepared to take? It wouldn't surprise me if they didn't stand his as s in front of a firing squad, and........well, you know the rest of the story.

I was in Korea 2 times in the 1960's, and we were having the same issues then, except some technology they possess is different.
We need to be talking to the UN and China.
If we went to war with N Korea, China would intervene!! Ready for that?

that guy is an idiot.
kim jong ill is illin'.
his people are brainwashed and starvin' like marvin. his country is financially bankrupt thanks to his military programs, and he has no friends. not even China likes him..his country is bascially a buffer between South Korea and China..in case some foreign power like the US of A decides to have war with China.
but that is really of no importance when you have an idiot like kim jong illn' in power.
someone needs to go in there and take him out.
kind of like Steven Segal.
