yeah, so Guillen leaves a few people off the all-star team who actually deserve to be there, such as Jason Giambi, Curt Schilling, Josh Becket, Carl Crawford, and takes some of his own guys from the sox as back-ups instead of players that really deserve to be there. That coupled with sending his pitcher down to A-league minor league baseball for NOT hitting a guy on the other team (he threw behind him). On top of that, he was talking **** about Joe Torre. Go win three more World Series, then talk **** about people that have maintained success. So, who thinks that Guillen is in the right frame of mind, and who thinks that he is a crazy piece of whacko who needs to be committed or shot?

Ozzie is insane, but stacking the all-star team with your own team's players is a long time mid-summer classic tradition. That's part of the reward for winning the League Championship series, you get to parade your players around for the All-Star game.

As far as sending Sean Tracey back down to the minors, you might want to check your facts - he was scheduled to be sent down before the incident. They traded for Riske from Boston and no longer had a spot in the roster for him.

What kind of a foolish question is this? I don't care for Ozzie Guillen, but I also don't think he picked too many White Sox. The fans can be even stupider (why did they vote in Robinson Cano, for instance?). And he can't pick every deserving player. I know there are a lot of folks in Seattle who would have liked to have closer J.J. Putz on the team, but I am very happy about Jose Lopez.

Call Guillen a jerk if you must, but don't descend to his level of language. And when somebody pays you to be a major-league manager, then maybe you can say a little bit more about All-Star picks.

H*** no!

Ozzie is the best,
First of all, all those ppl you named that missed the all star game are good, but the ppl that are on the rostr are just as good if not better.
Besides, the AL has soo much more talent to choose from this year that things like this are bound to happen. So he put a lot of sox players on the team, in my opinion, they all deserve it.

and also, Gay Mariotte is a F*g and that pitcher sent to the minors was a punk.
you don't follow all the games like a true sox fan so you only go on what the media tells u about him. He calls it like he sees it and thats the way it should be done by all managers.

I am not sure about what he has been saying but I do know this,
He has led the White Sox To three straight winning seasons and as far as picking players from his team, I think they deserve
to be there. Look at the stats, Thome leads the league in home
runs and Konerko is among the leaders in RBIS.

First of all, I always thought that the fans selected the position players, not the coach. For that matter, YES, I do think hes an @$$Hole, to put it politely. He picked on A-Rod, for not being Dominican enough to play on the team if he wanted, and called that sportswriter a homophobic slur. He really should learn to keep his mouth shut. If I was Selig, I'd suspend him till he learns better.

get over it yankee fan..Cito Gaston did the same thing when he was the AS Coach after 1993...the team had a TON of blue jays on the team..AND the Sox are STILL in 2nd place and they'd be first in the other leagues...so deal with it..

talk to me when (sounds like your a Yanko*f fan) steinbrenner no longer "BUYS" a team. Ozzie took alot on unknown talent and turned them into a World Series TEAM. Please note TEAM in caps. They play as a team think as a team and WIN as a team. GO SOX!!!!!
