for me...yes.
because it was dry down there and we didnt use lubrication. plus i was nervous which made matters worse. so my bf gave it up before his "u know what" is fully in my "harbor".
2nd time we tried: not at all. we had a long foreplay, i was relaxed, and he did it very slowly. also my teacher in sex education class in college told us some positions that would make it easier.
no blood was visible.
by the way: right after your period ends, your vaginal walls are thinner and is likely to be more susceptible to irritation due to a foreigh object. some girls break the piece of membrane down there accidentally when engaged in sport activities, or they were born without one. if the membrane is not broken during sex its not very likely to bleed or i guess wouldn't hurt as much.
do research! talk to an ob/gyn or browse on the internet! if u are well prepared, chances are u wont hurt much, if at all.

Not always, it depends on how everything goes. The whole bleeding thing doesn't always happen either. Lots and lots of foreplay(for you) will help, this means if you are not aware lots of touching and fondling and such. Just be careful, I'm not kidding, I was on birth control for 4 1/2 years and I missed my pill once. Now I have a lovely 11 month old son, however I am 23 and married so it's a wee bit different. If you want a reliable method of birth control try the NuvaRing. And condoms are a must!!! If you can convince him to use a water soluble lube(KY or something like that) it'll be easier too(wal-mart). Good luck hun.

Lets see my first time, its been like 14 years ago, anyhow, i recall alot of fluids gushing out, and yes it hurt, almost as if getting cut with a knife hurt. But my second time, which was with the same guy, and he has a very thick and very long you know what..... The second time, I most say hurt alot more than the first time...
I don't know, but possible the pain may and could be depending on the size of the guy. But yes, don't have sex, just to find out what it is like. there are lots of STD's these days, And truste me, that is something you don't want. As well as a baby, if you yourself is still a teen. time will tell, or should I say, time will give you the "feel"

Yeah, I was in pain for about 2 weeks. It was really good though, just not the first time.
Just make sure that you won't regret it and protect yourself.
Good Luck. Hope it all turns out well.

Not necessarily. It's the breaking of the hyman that makes it painful, and some girls were born without one. Some girls break their hyman accidentally doing athletic activities such as horseback riding or gymnastics.
Just tell him to be gentle.

No it isn't always painful, but if you really want it badly and its your first time no it won't hurt. If your not ready but your boyfriend tells you to do it with him then yes it will be painful. The difference is if you want it you will not think about how it hurts you just like it.

There may be a little pain the first time but it should not be unbearable unless you are not ready.

Kind of, but not unbearably so. I have a very low tolerance for pain, and I did bleed just a little, but it wasn't too bad. Plus, I have friends who tell me it didn't hurt at all. Just make sure you want it, and it's YOUR idea, not his. Be safe, hon.

with enough fluid coming out from you to act as lubricant should minimize the pain.. unless you hv an infection down there.. then chances are it'll hurt..
