I think Germany, but only if you have a job, otherwise, it would suck to live there. But, you've got fun cities, less drunk driving accidents in the entire country per year than in California alone, beautiful woods and villages, and a good education system. The people are nice as long as you are respectful of their culture and language. Lets not forget the wonderful food and the summer fests in small towns. I love it in Germany.

This is a very tough question... if you go by quality of life measurements, then the best countries in the world are in Northern Europe - Switzerland, Norway, Finland, Sweden... If you go by wealth, then the USA is the best... for now. But ultimately, what's "best" for one person may not be "best" for another. Prioritizing your needs and researching those in particular will help you find your own "best country to live in."
