means the "idle" person hasn't touched thier keyboard or mouse in a "specific" amount of time. Usally a time they set. For example my messenger says im idle when im away from my computer for 5+ min.

idle is a word like a car that is on but not moving is idleing. if it does mean something on messenger then i dont know...sorry

Idle means the person who is using the computer currently not using the computer i.e not even using keyboard or mouse.

well it mean that the person havent been talking to nobody when theyre on 4 a long time and u cant get them unidle until they decide to come bak on.
