No, I think I would have been devastated. I came close but I had union representation and was able to file several grievances and won. My union rep. had a lawyer ready to file harassment charges. It was difficult to continue working for someone who was constantly harassing you. So I found a new job with an awesome boss who is supportive and is encouraging me to be a supervisor.

My husband was laid off and basically told he wouldn't be coming back. I was very supportive and in the end he was able to get a much better job so it was a blessing in disguise

My ex husband got fired and I had to watch him for weeks to make sure he didn't commit suicide.

Loosing a job is one of the most stressful things a person can go through.

No. I have copies of 2 of my personnel files where I'd quit & the manager/supervisors wrote that I'd been fired for about 10 different reasons, 5 on each file. It sucks too as when I've applied for work, I've had to explain on the second interview why those 2 companies have that in their files on me.

Once and it was only due to the fact that my car was totaled in an accident. The car accident occured on my way to work but was in my own vehicle and it was the other driver's fault.
