How would that episode have gone down? Should Smiddy incorporate that into a script for an upcoming I Dream of Jeannie revival movie?

Should we cast Clooney in the Major's role, and what kind of cameo role could we write in for Larry Hagman?

A revival movie of " I Dream Of Jeannie " could be great but it seems to me that George Cloony deserves better....ever since "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" ~ I have realised his genius/talent is extraordinary. He should be doing actual Hamlet, and the very best, most incredibly well written sort of shows....because he can handle it, where some cannot...Why dont you consider another wooden actor for the part of Mr Hagmans character...because he was very wooden in that part? I will suggest my top wooden actor of all time Tom Cruise, and next Keanu Reeves, they would both fit the part.
(George and You) deserve better parts than that...the best most important type of roles, roles with more epic proportions! Alexander the Great would have served him....Jesus.... I think to have him do comedy is a waste, in a way...unless you did him again in another Oh Brother.... sort of appearance...that was glorius!!!!
oh hell yeah!
(by the way...you guys are hot!)
whatever projects you do ~ think big baby!
I grew up with Jeannie....dont mess with the girl!

Yes Jeannie would have been pissed if Major had wished for a wife and it wasn't her, she would have cursed his A$$ forever. NO Larry Hagman cameo! He's an old drunk, and He wouldn't be that great either...now the dude who played Tony, he would be funny in a cameo...

yes she would have been so jelous. i think the episode would have been like this jeannie and major go on a date then something happens and they get into a fight then in a jelous rage he wishes for a wife so he would have to put up with jeannie so much, jeannie gets sad and jelous and runs away major relizes that the thing that makes a good marriage is marrying someone u love he misses jeannie and realizes he's loved her all along and finds her they get hooked up and get married well thats how think the movie should go! could use some changes though let me know wat u think

Of course. She was jealous if he went on a date.

I wouldn't put that in a movie script though. Everyone knows they eventually got married.

A good cameo for Hagman and Eden would be as the parents of Major Nelson.

If your like me and old enough to recall show then you know answer. Every time Major Nelson went on a date Jeannie was jealous. but then your question is pointless since Major Nelson and Jeannie married before show ended its run. Far as a movie I hope not they ruin Dukes and Dallas looks like flop. Leave it alone. Bewitched stunk!

Not if the wife he wished for were her.
Otherwise, don't you think anyone in that scenario would have been jealous?

What if Jeannie had wished for a 'master' other than Major Nelson?

Swig that one out of your bottle.

What if she had went along with his wishes.... And Jeannie Blinked him {Bewitched} Samantha as a wife ... Then he would have had Jeannie , Samantha and Endora as a mother in-law to content with ....A whole lot of blinking & twitching going on....And their baby was {The Firestarter} can't remember her name...You get the picture...What a wild show that would make... Make's me laugh thinking about it... That's my thoughts on it... Thanks : ) happy 4th...
