Ball players are easiest to approach during spring training. I go to Peoria, AZ every year with a bunch of my friends and we have a great time golfing, going to ball games and soaking up the rays of sunshine. Go Mariners!!!
During the regular season you can go early to a game and get behind the dugout with a pen and cap, program, ball, etc.
The players seem to cater to the young kids below 12 yrs old as priority. Good reason to take your younger sister or brother, niece or nephew, son or daughter to tha game, huh?

Between the yearbook and the cards I would say the cards. If you want to authenticate the autograph down the road, all you have to do is take a picture of the player signing the card and then send copies of the picture when you sell the card. You can even type of a Certificate of Authenticity listing the date and where it was signed and include the picture and it'll sell higher than if you just sold the card alone. I do agree with the person above, a baseball would have better value, just do the same with the pictures of the players signing them.

Get there early. If possible trade your tix in for seats right by your favorite teams dugout. While your team is taking batting practice players will be waiting by the dugout, or walking in and out. Be curtious, and refer to the player your asking with a "Whats Up..." Nicknames work the best! It worked for me at the yankees game. Got 11 autographs!

Learn to ask foreign baseball players for autographs in their native languages. They appreciate the effort and you'll stand out from the other seekers.

Go early to the ballpark. While there having batting practice call them over some are nice but some have egos. Dont get your hopes up. Oh and you cant step on to the field so your going to yell from the stands.

go ealry. the ushers will usalluy let go near the field. Try by going near the bullpens that is the best spot. If not try going to a sports cards show. It is worth the price and the wait in line. You can get them to sign anything,. Certian players will not sign beware, Pugde ,Rogers won't.
