As a worker with at-risk youth, I have to constantly update my knowledge of gang culture. I have relocated and really need more info on the taggin' and symbols that I already have. East Coast area.

Gang graffiti is a type of territoriality. The gangs are making a incontrovertible reality that they are on correct of subject matters, they rule this city and no one better functional mess with them. that's certainly a conflict image.

there are alot of uneducated artists out there and disrespectful of the neighborhood. Mind you, most of the art is very creative and needs to be published. The resulting end is it stirs up violence between rival gangs. None of it is for viewing and enjoying. It is just 'marking their territory'. going back to the caveman days I guess, kinda like hieroglyphics
