A good trick to fix a wet cell phone is to first, remove the battery. Second, submerge the entire cell phone in rubbing alchohol. Let is soak for about 10 minutes...then remove it and let it dry. The rubbing alchohol will get into all the nooks and cranies of the cell phone, where water might be hiding. It dilutes the water, then evaporates completely when exposed to air. When you're finished, you should have a clean, utterly dry cell. This works with pretty much all small electronics, on the condition that it is removed from its power source.
The danger of of wet cell phone is short circuits, where the water creates a bridge of conductivity...allowing power to surge through delicate electronic components. Assuming that no short circuits have _already_ occured, your cell should work fine after you let it dry and reattach the battery. If its already short circuited...well, there's no much you can do save replace it.

take off the battery and back and place the phone in a bag of rice overnight to suck the excess moisture out of the phone. However, your phone is probably ruined. If you have insurance with the company, call customer service and activate the insurance. A fee of $50.00 will be charged for the replacement. Else, buy a new phone for $200.00 and up or use a prepaid phone. If you have a sim card, take it out also.

electronics do not withstand water well. if you get something electronic wet while it has no power on it allow it to dry before you turn it on. water conducts electricity. but if it got wet with power going thru its circuts then there is little hope. its possible for your phone company to extract the data you need from its memory chips/card and put on a new phone for you. you will probably need a new phone. take it to your service provider or whereever you got the phone and talk to them about it. if it isnt working correctly remove the battery to prevent further damage to the circuts.

Lol I did the same thing to my cellphone. I left it in pocket and I put my jeans in the laundry, wen't in the dryer, then it was toast. Most likely your phone is doomed too. Try putting it in the sun or using a blowdryer. But you have a 95.9% that your phone will not work. Good luck!
