This Nigerian scams are on since 1994. I have received trillion dollors worth of offers so far since then. Spoken hours togehter with them on the phone calls made by them. Have enquired from locals there and through Embassy staff, leading international banks they have named time and again; all proved scam.

Stay away and just ignore them.

Last year I received an email stating close to the same things. Somehow this person got my phone number also. It is a Nigerian scam you can google. I forwarded the emails to the FBI. They are trying to catch these groups of people who are actually stealing money from you after they want you to pay for transaction fees. Try to block all of their emails or forward them to the FBI.

Spam that email immediately. You will receive no money, AND compromise your identity. If it was legitimate they would know where and how to send the check. It does not make logical since to give the money to someone you do not know. Why not family or friends or a DUMMY corporation. Do not fall for the scam
