Great question.

To me, and with the woman I love, it can be as simple as sashaying aisles at a local home improvement store together, or as intense as a sexual experience.

Intimacy need not be defined strictly as a sexual connection. It can be a look, a touch on a hand or cheek. It can be a word or phrase, a gift as simple as a "Good Morning" or as personal as something said in passion.

Intimacy can be all encompassing in a loving relationship,,,but I feel that intimacy isn't accurately defined in a connection with an agenda, or without emotion as the "glue"

Intimacy is likely as difficult,,,or as easy, to define, as LOVE, and is so very personal between the two who share the moments in experiencing it.

It can range from anything from a simple kiss to full on sex. There is different degrees of intimacy, it just depends on how deep you are willing to go.

Making sure that you smile at the woman at home before you smile at the woman outside.
