with few or vague symptoms?

I've had sort of "generic" abdominal cramping since I had lithotripsy (sound waves used to break up large kidney stones). I just can't shake the feeling that there's something really wrong with my body right now. I'm free of stones, for the time being anyway, so it's not that they've come back.

And to the idiot who brought up hypochondria, just a little FYI:

Hypochondria: The persistent conviction that one is or is likely to become ill, often involving symptoms when illness is neither present nor likely, and persisting despite reassurance and medical evidence to the contrary. Also called hypochondriasis (from dictionary.com)

Now, you snotty little creep, this is by NO means persistent - it had a definite beginning, before which the only time I saw a doctor just about was when I was pregnant and when I was diagnosed in the ER with a huge kidney stone. Therefore, I would have no reassurance, much less medical evidence that there IS nothing wrong. So take your conescending snothead answer and stuff it, 'k?

If you feel that something is wrong you should see a doctor. You know your own body

Yes, I completely believe that you can have an intuition that something is wrong even before it is medically diagnosed. You should find a doctor that you feel completely comfortable with and talk to them. Good Luck and think positively, I also believe that the mind is a powerful healing device.

Your body will tell you when something is wrong with you. You should probably go talk to the doctor. Don't freak out though. I'm sure there is some pain involved with that procedure. But still, go see the doc incase there is some scar tissue floating around.
