Your partial blindness would be a problem for you to get your own licence. I am sure that you could get a ride on the back of someone else's bike, it the local bike clubs to start with.

You will get the same trill as actually being in control of the bike without the danger involved.

I would suggest that you call some motorcycle clubs, see if there's anyone that would be inclined to take you for a ride sometimes...you may not be able to get your license with a vision problem...that standard is maintained by the DMV for public safety, and you'd be risking your life and that of others if you are seriously visually impaired and tried to operate a motorcycle on a public road. Find a buddy that you can ride along with, or someone with a motorcycle and a side-car!

Motorcycle safety foundation offers rider training, they provide a bike to ride. Take the class THEN decide.

There are some places that have bikes and instructors, check your local motorcycle safety foundation, and you can also check these camps that let you ride on race tracks etc...good luck and I hope you get to ride!!
