Yes it is possible for hpt to show up negative if you are very early into a pregnancy. My husband's cousin took 4 before one finally came up positive. There may not be enough HCG, the pregnancy hormone, in your system yet. When I got pregnant the first 2 test I took came up with a very, very faint line but I waited 1 week and did another and the line was very dark pink. Wait a few days and take another or go to the doctor and have a test taken there. You may be feeling pregnant either because you are or you are so nervous about skipping a period that your body is playing tricks on you and you are reading into things too much. I have done that before, I was so nervous about being pregnant that I was actually making myself sick and it was all nerves. Relax until you find out for sure. Good luck.

I'd say either you are having a baby or you caught something from your partner. Several yeast infections will affect your period... or God forbid something worse....

if you dont have a monthly within three weeks AND your tests prove positive then you know its a baby. If the tests are negative, then you had better go see what is going on with your lower end... something needs to be checked.

do a blood test, is more accurate than home tests... I used to be pregnant of 11 weeks, and I took one home test, negative, and blood test negative, 1 week after my period was due date. I repeated it 2 weeks later, home test still negative but ¡surprise! blood test was positive. So go ahead, blood test. Brown spotting was one of my first signs after no period... No tender breasts, no faints, no dizznes... just brown spotting. Hope I could helped u. Good Luck!

The easiest way to figure out what's going on is to go to the doctor. Sure, that's probably the last thing you want to do, especially if you're younger and don't want your parents to know. But, that way you can find out if you are in fact pregnant, and if not, what exactly is going on. Go to a gynecologist, it's your best idea.
