Where are you in the circular flow? Why are you not counted in some categories?

In the circular flow I would be considered in the consumer category. I do not make a product therefore I consume products. You can only be counted in one category. The products produced by business flow one way while capital flows the opposite.

Most americans are now in the transaction role, ie servicing society rather than adding to it. You are not counted in many ways simply because the system is designed not to care for this particular segment. Dime a dozen is the simple way to look at it, also this new era of american living hinders so many opportunities and growth as a nation. The ice we all are living on is rapidly getting thinner and thinner.

Most of us would be included twice: as the consumers who buy products and as laborers who supply our labor as a raw good.

You are only counted in those categories that describe your role.
