Since my parents are gone for the week i have the big screen tv to myself. But should i watch this movie? Will i be able to get any sleep tonight if i do?

Depend on if you like creepy movies! Its kinda scary especially knowing that your home by yourself it might get your imagination running and might creep u out (well it made me not wanna babysit) (but i saw the older original version)

This movie was horrible--if you want to watch it, watch the original, although I was much younger when I saw it and it scared me then. It could be just as bad according to today's standards. But...I have also read on here that some people have enjoyed it, so it is all in what you like I guess. If you are really young and get scared easy, I wouldn't watch it, you might not sleep very well.

okay. you're alone for the weekend right? if you're the easily scared type, i don't suggest you watch it alone (although it's not really scary, it just makes you jump a couple of times). it's okay - no gore, not a lot of blood, just a few scares. you'll be able to sleep of course... if we're talking about the remake.
now, for the original film, it's a a lot more scary than this one, by a mile! it's mainly because of the actor who played the stranger/killer. but hey, enjoy your weekend! :)

Yeah you should. It is a really good movie. I like the fact that it wasn't really short or too long. It got right to the point and it kept me in suspense. It's not all that scary. Although if you are staying by yourself and you get scared easily, than I wouldn't suggest it.

should you watch it, no its not that great, everything you watch in this movie you have seen it before in many other films . As for will you be able to sleep, absolutley, all in all the movie is not that scary. Dont waste your money rent something descent.

You should watch the original with Carol Kane. It's freaky in a weird, psychological way. It's a lot better than the re-make.

Its okay, I thought it was scary because more of what is going on around the main character, not really a scary movie in itself

if u scare easily and are freaked out by the smallest noises when alone, i would think not
but i dont scare easily (watched a bunch of horror movies by myself one weekend =D), so i would watch it
if u do watch it, have fun

ugh that movie is so terrible. like seriously, it's not even scary, trust me. i wasted $8 to sit with my friend in the theatre and make fun of all the cheesy scare tactics

when I was in 6th grade my english class was given a writing assignment that you would complete the story. it was one page, and we had to write another page. Someone dug my homework out of the trash and I never saw any money for it.
