I watched it on CNN.com. Went off without a hitch, the first ever shuttle launch on a July 4th.

I live near Miami. Like 200 miles south of Canaveral yet on a clear day, I can see the shuttle go up from my office window. Today it was too overcast. Night launches are the best, it's just a tiny orange dot rising in the sky.

I heard about it. Kinda makes me wonder why the U.S. is still sending the Shuttle up. What's the ultimate agenda? Anyhow, this launch was out done by the North Koreans. If it were easy I'd like to blow them off the map to show them how ICBM's are really supposed to work and not fail 35 seconds into launch. May God help us all...

yea I watched it in the front yard...I feel real bad for all the people who get stuck in traffic for hours in the heat just to watch twenty seconds of marvel. But we take it for granted here...its like...oh another one. okay back to the daily business

Yea and it was all over the news's and stuff. but than every one forgot about it because of the north Korean thingy which is pretty stupid.
