Guys: What would you do if you were married to a woman and she cheated and got preg. with another mans baby and you didnt know the baby wasnt yours until later down the road. After, You have wasted money, time, and love on this child? Lets throw all the factors in: Who's to say she wouldnt get preg. again with another man's baby? Is she really worth being with? Will that kid oneday say "You're not my Dad" when he/she was mad? What if she decides not to have anymore kids after that one (which means your name, genes, traits, stop with you)? Would you stay? Would you leave? Or would you do something even more dramtic?

i would get out of that marriage.

the problem would be that child. that i would probably love by that point. the fact that in some states like California if you don't protest the child being yours with in the 1st 2 years, that's it, you're the dad for life and responsible no matter what. at that point i would probably hate the mother for lieing to me for so long, entrapping me into a situation like this, and misleading me (not to mention cheating on me). with in my legal right i would fight for custody for that child. that i would be a better parent to that child (would you want a woman that could do this, to raise a child? not me.) and it would also be my revenge on that woman as well. lets face it if someone hurts you in a way like that you would want to do the worst you can back.

I know it may not sound nice but doing such a thing is the worst of the worst in a relation.

I'm sorry i can;t sugar coat this answer for you if this is what you have done. we all make mistakes in our lives. yous began with trying to hide another mistake by hiding it for so long.

that is if you did this. if not well glad to hear it's just a hypothetical question.

added info after your added info:
yes i would still love that child and want the best for him.

If someone cheats and then lies there is a reason. That reason is your not right for each other. I believe that if your in a committed relationship then part of that commitment includes honesty and fidelity. I would leave, depending on the circumstances of when and how I found out I would decide my level of involvemet with the kid. I mean if they are grown and you find out its a moot point but if they are still young I might be inclined to at least provide some sort of support so the kid doesn't have to suffer the mothers mistake.

That would totally depend on her attitude. Life is full of mulligans. It would also depend if she knew all along the kid was another mans and why she didn't tell. If she was truly sorry and I was sure I meant a lot to her I would try to forgive. It would be hard but I would try. The real key is how long she knew before she cleared the air. If you are involved in this scenario, the sooner you clear the air the better chance you have of holding things together. It will be very hard for both of you. That is quite a betrayal. The odds are against you. But then, you really should have known that before you laid down.

I would first of all leave her beace it is not my baby and she cheated.I never cheated on any one I've dated ext.I would still love the child thou.true your right because she cheated before does not mean she wont again.and get pregs again.hell nope she is not worth being with because she cheated and lied etc.it would really hurt still because of all the love you put into the kid.that would just suck,I would hope that I came across a woman that loved me for me and I love her for her.I would try to move on.yes I would leave because of all the circumstances.heel no i would just tell what she did to me and tell her that i can do better and she needs to get things in order.

I'd hate the woman, but (depending on how long I'd had the child), I'd probably feel like the kid was mine anyways, it wouldn't really be a "waste of money". It's tough to say what I'd do, because I'd definitely want to divorce her, but only if I got custody of the child (which wouldn't be likely since I wouldn't even be the real father). I'd probably check with my lawyer, I guess.

It's pretty simple, If she cheated and got knocked up, I'd be outa there cuz if she did it once she'll do it again, no questions asked. She ain't worth the time anymore cuz there are better women out there that want a good man. Plain and simple.

She's out the door. If you really want to be a part of the kids life, sue for custody. (probably won't get it, but worth a shot)

I would leave her, I would never be able to look at her without the thought of her cheating on me in the back of my mind, the trust would be gone and so would I.

I would take her to court to make sure i got the house and everything else and leave her with nothing but the kid. then she can go find the kids dad and make him pay for his kid.

I would leave her, have my attorney file a suit to refute paternity as well as charging her with malicious intent which would be an open and shut case and I would leave her nothing from community property.
