Go to the IE .exe file. Right click it and send it to the desktop as a shortcut.

Drag the Explorer icon from the start menu, and drop it onto your desktop.

Simply click the bottom right START button, then go to programs, find the Explorer icon and just drag it onto the desktop. This will create a shortcut on your desktop.

PS: No need to "right click" or anything else.

Make Yahoo, Google, or MSN Your home page and the shortcut
will automatically be for Internet Explorer if that is your browser

Click on file in left hand corner of screen, go down to send to and right click on shortcut to desk top

right click on the page you want a shortcut to and select "create shortcut" from the list of options it gives you

If you're talking about a desktop icon then go to your start menu. Find IE and right click it. On the menu that comes up choose 'send to desktop'.

right click on an open space on your desktop, choose shortcut, then browse to IE.("C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe")
that should do it for you. . .

All that you need to do is go down to start on your computer and click INTERNET EXPLORER.. It is right next to EMAIL.
