What advantages /disadvantages would there be ?

For me this is between identifying with certain parts of our experience (hands ,stomach ,thoughts ..),or with the illuminating quality associated with all experience. I have found that the latter perspective is far less fear bound. Any other experiences of this ?

i would say that mind/body experience is the physical presence of the fear and the existential unliimited being/existence is the result of working through the fear

Thanks for the question! Its one of the better ones which I've seen here!

Such a choice simply isn't possible, given or not. Human beings are limited on all levels, all that we have/perceive is limited by the senses we have in varying degrees. If something like that was given to us, we'd STILL be limited as to what to do with it or even in attempting to make the choice itself!

As one person pointed out though, it is "Groovy" to have/use both. That, is possible in rare instances and on an extremely minute scale. And if used wisely can be extremely beneficial to the one it happens for, and if that person is willing, it can then in turn be helpful for others as well being passed along. i.e. Writing about the experience or sharing it with others.

As another person pointed out... That type of thing would make it possible for someone to set themselves up as a "God".... Human nature dictates that that scenario would be far more likely, and that wouldn't be a good thing!

Its cool to ponder such things now and then.... The thought of it actually being possible though......, everyone should be VERY happy that we're all too limited for it to happen!

There is no need to make a choice. Given your current situation you can be the former or the latter. It depends on how you choose to live your life.

Even with our limited body/mind, we can choose to pursue and achieve an unlimited being/existence. Secretly it does not take discipline or hard work to get there. It take doing absolutely nothing, and I'm sure you know what I mean by that.

hi if you had an unlimited being existence there would be dangers that you knew more than most and you could set yourself up as a god , because with all power comes abuse of power. I think that's why we die anyway when we pass we are not limited by physical body and have much more knowledge than here on earth

First of all let me note, that we are mind, body, and spirit. You can either accept this fact or not. Secondly, wisdom is a gift of the Holy Spirit, and knowledge just a collection of information. Wisdom allows you to put knowledge into action to better mankind. I always choose life in the Holy Spirit the author of human inspiration and the highest expression of the human spirit.

I know this wouldn't really answer your question but how about reading a gorgeous book called The History of Love by a Nicole Krauss (if you haven't already). That was the first thing that sprang to mind at the sight of your quesiton...

Unlimited Being does not limit itself with human's knowledge and beliefs, so that faculties simply does not exist as well as any other conditions limited humans burden themselves.. You figure that out, is it loses or gain?

isn't this the same as choosing between mortality and immortality ?
I'd agree that three score years and ten is a rough deal, but that's it for the moment, so make the most of it.

The real question here is do you believe that in death we simply cease to exist, or that our consciousness goes on. I hope mine just ends, cause I'm tired.
