You don't mention your actual age, nor the age of your lover. This is important because if you are a minor and are having sex with an adult, the adult could be jailed under statutory rape laws.
When it comes to sex, men aren't usually all that trustworthy.Protect yourself at all times against sexually transmitted disease and unwanted pregnancy.
My opinion about whether or not you should be having sex isn't important. It's what you think that is important because it's you running the risks associated with sex , not me.

NO... i have read all of the other answers and NOT EVEN ONE mentioned the fact that even if you used condoms, there are other std's AND virus' that you can AND WILL catch. not to sound negitive, but 80% of the population has HPV. If you do not know what that is go look it up on a search engine. dont be stupid. if you are going to have sex with a man, WAIT untill you are married and make sure he has no stds or virus'. But of course you will not listen, like everyother girl in here. After you have sex and he dumps you, then it will be all about the next guy and the next .... etc etc etc... im sure i will get a lot of feed back from some bimbos that think im bashing girls, im not. ok fact is fact... thats all. The voice of experience has spoken YOU take it from here.

how young are you? do you know that sex is sacred? that sex is for your husband to be? do not be so curious about sex if you said yourself is still young, you may end up crying and regretting, we can not turn back the clock for as much as we want.so you had better think properly, you will then realize that sex shouldn't be in fit of curiousity.

I agree with the others about using protection but also consider there are emotional consequences to having sex that make it more complicated than it seems.

If you are questioning it then you don't need to be having it. You are not old enough or mature enough yet. Wait for it. If you feel that peer pressure has something to do with it then I REALLY wouldn't a lot of girls just SAY they have sex and really don't.

How old are you? Only you can decide when it is right for you. In my opinion you should be at least eighteen or even one better wait until you get married. Also you may want to have a talk with your mother.

No. Definitely, not. Too risky. It's easy to win someone's trust then wreck their lives.
