Arctic Circle...yes, there are trees there...coniferious such as Spruce and Pine. But the further North you go, the fewer there are and finally none at all. Check out this photo:

Those look like trees.

I live about 100 miles south of the beginning of the Arctic Circle.
When you first cross the Circle the tress are the same. However the further North you go the number and size of trees un til ther are none. Too cold at the Top of The World. However, ther is other types of vegetation in the summer. All covered with snow in winter.

There are no trees that grow above the arctic circle.

yes, but they are so short they don't look like trees
