What ever you decide on, don't pick a mainstream thing. Don't belike every other girl and get a flower or a fairy, ect. Get something that you think reflects your personallity. Be original, and creative.

I got the Chinese character for magic on my ankle. It has personal significance since I got it when I converted to wicca. Get something you won't tire of looking at and has some significance. Remember, your ankle is a small surface to work with so get something simple so it won't blur as you age.

Get something that means something to you. I agree....no hearts, flowers, fairies etc. I think they look cheap. Eg. I am a Marine Biologist and have ALWAYS loved sharks, so I got a simple black shark on my ankle. Had it done about 10 years ago and have never regretted it.

If you are unsure about what tattoo you want to put on your body, put it somewhere were it will be hidden, unless you want to expose it to someone special. If you put it on your ankle and you feelings change later, and you try to undo it, then we may have a little scar , won't we?

I'm thinking of getting a butterfly or just a simple tiny rose w/ stem, but I've seen a site that gave me my name in Chinese characters and that may also be something that would be real cool ! :>)

Not that you should get my name...LOL....Get or use your own name....he-he-he!!!
