Whether a perosn is innocent or guilty does not matter. If a defendant can hire a good enough attorney, he can get off. Lower class people cannot afford decent representation.

This is why prisons are full of lower class people who may or may not have committed any crime but were stuck with a crappy public defender so they had no chance, while real criminals like Ken Lay and OJ Simpson who could afford the best lawyers money can buy get off scot free.

That is the most obvious imperfection. It doesn't matter if you're guilty as long as you have a great lawyer.

First Remove Judicial Immunity,Everyone is held accountable, not just the poor peons that can't afford a good defense.

All Public Servants pertaining to Law.Judges and Police, are the main offenders.
Shell be Fixed with a Microphone and a Camera while on duty. This will be up linked to a Panel of the public,Law Professors, our Best Attorney's(if there is any),and lay people. If this link is Broken while on duty as a public servant, your position is immediately terminated, and your barred for life then on.Guess what no more slimy judge deals, abusive cops, any on the take or any other Unlawful act.Sounds like a fare play ground now.

Imperfection? We could sit here all night and give examples. Most of all I believe the problem is about money. If you can afford a first class legal team chances are you get away with murder. If you are Joe Smith without a dime nor work , you can bet that you will be in jail forever.

Responsiblility and accountability. No one is responsible for thier actions and held accountable for thier actions either. Murderers take lives and then complain how thier human rights are being violated. Rapists and Molesters leave an emotional scar on thier victims and yet complain how thier rights are being violated. The one thing that everybody forgets is " What Happened To The Rights Of The Victims"? Society forgets that prisons are for punishment and not a vacation resort for the criminals that were sentenced there. When these people commited these crimes they forfieted thier rights as Humans and therefore are not entitled to such rights as law bidding citizens are.

Many, many imperfections -- too many to list.

BUT, not that any other legal system is better, the main problem seems to be inconsistencies. I went to paralegal school for two years before changing careers (to teaching), and one teacher (an attorney himself) told us that "the famous law school answer is "IT DEPENDS!"" This proves the inconsistencies. I have no solutions, so I will go no further.

Generally, the legal system is pretty good, if somewhat complicated. At least when it comes to most jury trials. The two glaring bad points are judges who think they can make laws rather than interpret them. And, second, the ridiculous awards given and allowed at big lawsuits that stagger the imagination.

The imperfection in our legal system is that law enforcements break teh law to get other people in trouble. I mean how does that make things just? If they are breakingthe law they should get punished and they shouldnt be excused just because they are law enforcment..

I think the law is wrong when wealthy criminals can buy the best defence lawyers and use them to get off on a technicality or if convicted, be sentenced minimally. If somebody without money did the exact same crime under the exact same circumstances, you better believe they'd be convicted and spend lengthy periods of time in jail.

It takes to long to Fry 'em after the jury gives 'em the death sentence. I say walk 'em right out in the street and string 'em up! That will put the fear of God in them and save the taxpayers millions. Why should my tax dollars go to allow a criminal to sit around all day, watch color TV and eat 3 meals a day. There are working people who can't afford a place to live and a decent meal. I would rater we house and feed the people who need our help than to house and feed a bunch of sick animals. Plus it would eliminate the need for all these bleeding heart liberal lawyers to be spewing their BS on CNN, MS-NBC etc.
