I wouldn't, but I bet that in a heart beat, there would be at least a hundred web sites that would prove that Bush and his administration plotted the meteor strike. They would fake the paper trail from Jupiter or Mars, find people that would agree with them and make up stories on how Bush could just telepathically summon a meteor out from space to hit Idaho. The reason behind it would be the scull and crossbones members hated potatoes or something.

I would blame him if a meteor were to take out Idaho, since it would essentially result from the government's unwillingness to provide enough funding to monitor the entire sky, even though they're perfectly willing to monitor our phone calls.
I have nothing against President Bush personally, and I'm a moderate independent, but I don't think he has performed very well. He is certainly more responsible for world problems than I am -- it is his job as President to take responsibility for them, and he has more power to do something about them. War is a great example: right or wrong, it was his decision to invade Iraq, not mine, so he's certainly responsible for it and deserves most of the blame or credit, depending on how you see it.
If you support the President, you shouldn't worry too much about criticism, as he doesn't seem to be affected by it. I'm not sure how good or bad that quality is in a President, but it seems to be in his nature. Also, criticism is natural in our political system, since the stakes are so high and only one group at a time gets to enact its preferred policies.

I do not think the President is soley responsible for anything!!!!
The last time I checked, the government was ran by three political bodies, the executive, the legislative and the judicial.
Regardless of how much you like or dislike George Bush, he is not 100% to blame or to be given credit to. I do not see anybody blaming congress or the supreme court for anything.
Congress and the Senate have as much power as the President does. What are they doing to "correct" the President's mistake? I do not think going to the media and cry and complain is not the proper action to take.
Now if the President was doing such a lousy job, why did not the other two parts of our government act and get him out of office. They could always impeach him. Have they found any grounds to do it?? NO!! Why, because even if the media portrays Bush in such a bad light, they still do not have anything to go after him, even Katrina, Wire Tapping, Iraq, Gitmo, or anything else you might be unhappy about.
Any complains?? Go and complain to your congressman, who is actually the individual that is representing you in the government. And if you are lucky to be heard by your senator, please tell him what you think.
Instead of complaining, do something about it. And for those that are doing something about it, good for you.
If you do not like Bush, make sure that next election, do not vote for him (that is a joke.)

I understand what you are talking about . a lot of people need to blame George Bush for everything and anything they can . It is like the BullSh*t about global warming . The media has placed into the American minds that Bush is responsible for everything . It is crazy that there is so many narrow minded people out there . It is like when Bill Clinton was in the white house, he could do no wrong, And George Bush can do no right. But here is a thought to ponder on , How would America have reacted about 911 , if Al Gore would have been in the white house ? I think that Al Gore would have smoked a Bill Clinton piece pipe with Osmia Benladin . And the media filming it would have said , but they did not inhale ........lol.........

Its funny how GW flew the planes into the WTC, Pentagon and proved he was a lousy pilote in Pennsylvania. Then he sign handedly drove that hurricane into the poor and minority neighborhoods of New Orleans while getting out to blow up the levies.
In all seriousness do you notice how the media fails our government, but never failes the individuals responsible for the failure? I mean look at New Orleans. Who is at fault; the federal government, state, local or people for not being prepared and evacuating when told too?

WHAT ARE YOU SMOKING? HE IS A LEADER OF THE MOST INDUSTRIALIZED NATION IN THE WORLD AND I AM MORE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS STUFF THAN HE IS?
YOU SAID "NOT BY GWB"... SO HE'S MADE NO MISTAKES? SO YOU WANTED THE PORTS TURNED OVER TO THE UAE AND HARRIET MEYERS TO BE ON THE SUPREME COURT?
IT'S TIME TO PUT DOWN THE PIPE AND PICK UP A NEWSPAPER, TURN ON THE TV... OR DO ANYTHING TO GET GROUNDED IN REALITY...
HAHAHAHA... THANKS FOR THE LAUGH
edit: I thought Republicans were the party of "personal responsibility... too bad you don't extend that to Bush's actions... hahaha

Love you.
You are right, he gets blamed for everything. I am not saying he is perfect, because he is not. None of the Presidents have been
perfect. NONE OF THEM! But they do the best job they can based on the information they are given. I personally am glad that
Kerry was not President when 9-11 happened.
But stop blaming the President for everything that goes wrong. He DOES NOT HAVE absolute power. If he did, he would be
a King or something.

I would blame him for not doin something about it. Most likely he would be in another kindergarten classroom, and continue to listen to a story. Whenever he's faced with a challenge, he doesn't do anything. 9-11 and Katrina are perfect examples. A meteor wouldn't be any different.

Well, Bush and Co control much of the media. It is possible to keep the Country from knowing Idaho is destined to be hit.
Possibly he's afraid someone in Idaho is going to expose him for what he really is. Not much to be proud of I'm afraid.
So he decides to just destroy Idaho to get rid of that one person.

You go, girl! I'm sick of it too. They blame him on Katrina (the hurricane), etc. Why don't we blame the fact that I'm overweight on W? I want to blame him!
Remember we do have a blame society -- everyone wants to blame someone. Kerry is unworthy -- they didn't come up with anyone better, and Bush won. They just can't seem to get over it...
