I have to agree with huggy_bunny17. I've been pregnant twice and both times I had severe kidney infections (UTI). My infecton was so bad to the point that blood was clearly visible in my urine. They didn't even have to take my urine sample to the lab because as soon as you looked in the sample, it was red. I know it's pretty gross but you asked so I'm telling you. I was hospitalized several times within each pregnancy and the pain was so severe that it was causing prelabor contractions. I had to have a shot of morphine every four hours and I don't mean an little bitty shot, I mean almost half of a standard siringe of morphine. I couldn't breathe, walk, stand, lay down, sit or even move at all for that matter. It got so bad that morphine wasn't even working so they had to give me an epadural that numbed my entire body from the neck down and that was two days before they finally decided to induce my labor. My deliveries and even the after math pain weren't anything compared to my kidney infections. I even had to have an emergency c-section for my second child and they give you morphine for the pain afterwards and believe it or not, I told them that I didn't even need the morphine because the pain didn't even faze me. So there you have it, my opinion, smacked all on a silver platter.

There is NO pain worse than giving birth...simply because that pain lasts MUCH longer than pain from anything else. If someone gets shot, they are in an ER and given pain meds, on a normal average, in at least 2-4 hours. Women are in labor sometimes up to 3-4 days. And even with an epidural, sometimes they dont kick in until after the baby is born. If you can give birth, you can handle ANYTHING!!!!

Well, I had an epidural didn't feel a thing, and a shot well I don't think that hurts at all, feels like a pinch. I'd have to say the worst pain would be having a broken heart.
Oh, oops, I thought you ment a shot like at the doctors, well, I'm sure that must hurt but, I think it happens so fast you really don't feel it at first, so I still stick with having a broken heart. Mental pain, can be far worse then physical pain.

i had a son almost two years ago and in the time i was having my son my best friend was have bunion surgery on her foot and the lady who did the surgery said that foot surgery is alot more painful than having a child cause you need you feet for everthing child birth only hurts for a few weeks and its done foot surgery last months if not a year. and i would think having a child without any drugs would be more painful than getting shot. i dont know really and really dont want to find out lol

I've never been shot so I don't know firsthand, but I've had 2 c-sections, one of which I was in labor for 24 hours prior to delivery. I would think that getting shot is worse. I had tremendous pain during my second labor but I would describe it more as discomfort, getting shot just seems like it should hurt much more.

The only thing that comes to mind that is worse than giving birth is either severe/acute lower back muscle spasms so bad that you fall to your knees in pain trying to get out of bed or severe sciatica where you can't even feel your leg or toes because they are numb from a pinched nerve!

I think being burned is a worse pain than giving birth because it doesn't always end where giving birth does end.

A man with a kidney stone that he can't pass. About 3 to 7 days it gets really bad. Imagine being in labor for 7 days with no pain medication.

The one you'll feel when your love one dies, And that feeling last until you die.
But I gave birth to a beautiful boy 9lbs -N- the head alone was 13 1/2 centimeters with no medication or IV cuz I didn't make it in time for those thing to be put on me.
