Al Pacino. He is the young version of De Niro. Nicholson overacts sometimes.

i'd have to say De Niro because he can play so many kind of guys, then a tie with Pacino and Nicholson, but all three have set the coolness bar so high no one's matched them yet.

Wow ... tough question. I would have to say Jack Nicholson ... because he can almost play any role there is and he has been in more films ( I think) I just wish they could be that cool with out all the vulgerness.
