If you're find the fourth root of say, 10, just press:
10 [^] (1 [a b/c] 4) [=]
10 - the number
[^] - to the power of
[a b/c] - fraction
1 [a b/c] 4 - as the numerator refers to the power while the denominator refers to the root, and in this case, we are looking at the fourth root.

Try the log method. i,e, Using 16 for example the log is 1.20412 divided by 4 is 0.30103 Antilog of 0.30103 is 2 Will work for any number .I chose a number that we already knew the answer to.
