Shaman are a position found across many cultures, internationally. Think native-american medicine man. Shaman is the teacher, the teller of stories, the faith healer; a consultant of life within the primitive faith, generally. Perhaps a diplomat of African tribal cultures--the seed trader and elder. Often considered the 'crazy' of a culture. All these characteristics befit the shaman.
