power output on a usb drive??

ok i want to find out what type of usb port i have i open device manager and clikc on the usb deevice and it says that the total out put is 500 mAh is this usb 2.0 or 2.1???

Both USB 1 & 2 have the same 500ma.
To check what you have-- plug in a USB 2 device if no note comes on the bottom right of desktop you have 2.0 If you get a note it will tell you to upgrade. Careful when plugging in more than one device the total power avalible is only 500ma spread between all , use a powered hub to increase power supply
