I want to make an ironic craft out of it. The flag part comes off easily from the stick.

I don't want to keep it in the yard, or proudly display it. That's why I removed it.

Why would making a craft out of the flag be unsupportive of the troops?

Some of you guys need to chill out. It's not like I'm out stealing other people's flags or impairing in any way their ability to celebrate what they want how they want. It's just a silly plastic flag. I pay taxes and I vote. Manipulating a flag won't make me an irresponsible citizen.

You are a coward and you should be asked to leave the country. Why aren't you proudly letting the flag stay in your yard? If you don't like it, leave it! It's people like you that will be the reason that I eventually leave it. There seems to be more and more of people like you here, and I hate to be asociated with cowards who have no back-bone or pride. You can all just sit and debate over who is going to sell this country out by yourselves one day. I for one, won't be here to see the ship sink when gutless cowards like you eventually have the duty of making the crucial decisions about this country's welfare or defense.

Not knowing the dimensions of the plastic flag, I don't know what craft you could do.

But if you don't want it, give it to someone else. You're lucky to have it. I don't have a flag to fly and wish I did.

It's probably there to mark out a utility because someone will be digging in the area soon. It's best to leave it where it is until they're finished digging or you may end up without water or electric or another utility.
