You might want to check out the trades, like masonry, plumbing, pipefitting, etc. I don't know if they count as *very* high-paying but a lot of them make more than me with my Master's degree. If you're decent with math and have pretty good spatial relations, it's worth some research. Start with the unions, and they can give you some info.

If you can master a musical instrument, you can make pretty good money teaching students in their homes. If you play an instrument such as the harp, french horn, or oboe, you will be even more in demand. Also, if you play a stringed instrument, you can get gigs playing for weddings and also, a lot of rock bands want strings on their recordings now. Piano accompanists also make good money but some schools require a degree.
So, if your parents are always bugging you to practice your instrument, you should listen to them! :)

car saleman.

they actually make more than people with degrees.

i'm a receptionist for a Ford car dealarship and they show me their pink slips (receipts) if i ask to seem them after a deal.

...which shows how much profit they make from the car that they just sold.

the lowest you can make for selling an individual car is $100 and the most you can make is $2,000, depending on the car.

i know some car salesman that make more than $60,000 a year.

imagine selling 4 cars a weel at about $600 a car.
that is $2400/weekly.

and $9,600 a month.
which means you would be making about $115,000 a year. all you would have to do is sell 4 cars a week and they work m-sat.

did i do that math right?

A lot of self employed people seem to make a lot without a college degree. Do yourself a favor and get a degree.

The IT field is still going strong, and experience and certifications are at least as (if not more) important than a degree to most employers.

I don't know, but someone told me that Bll Gates didn't graduate from college. I could swear he went to harvard, but if he didn't graduate then you should aim for his career.

Prostitution. And since most women do that anyway in some form, then it can't be that hard. (ZING!)
