Someone said that it's easy to acquire charisma..so intelligence is better. If charisma is so easy to get, tell me how you think a person could just "get" it!

Charisma, for sure. A person can gain intelligence by reading a book or listening to someone speak. Of course, it really depends on how you define intelligence. Is intelligence book smarts, street smarts, common sense, etc... Charisma is part of your personality, and you can't just snap your fingers and get it. However you believe, nature vs. nurture, charisma is definitely an attribute someone just has, or doesn't. It will get you far in your social life, as well as your business life.

Intelligence, of course. Charisma could win you a few battles, but it takes intelligence to build up a strategy able to get you to the top of your game. Besides, Intelligent people can learn to be more charismatic and I don't think the same thing happens the other way around...

The obvious answer would seem to be intelligence...lets dig a little deeper,however--with intelligence I can learn to acuire the other characteristic(s)...given a short time.On the other hand, intelligence doesn't happen overnight or in a short span.
Now lets look at it this way--with charisma I can win over many hearts, set up a team of intelligent people to be around me at all times-on my request(kinda like a president),and be liked around the world...many people that are charismatic are intelligent and are around many people that are intelligent. Also, they get away with alot!

Charisma will get you farther than intelligence. Charisma is something that you either have, or don't. You cannot learn it or copy it. (IMHO). With charisma, you can hire someone with intelligence. Larry Ellison at Oracle has more charisma than intelligence, and he is one of the richest men in the world.

You would need Intelligence because how would you get there in the first place? beating everyone up? Who would you rule? With Intelligence, you could easily outsmart people to get to the top. And plus, it can take a few months to get charisma. it takes your whole life to get Intellect.

Intelligence. You couldn't continue to rule the world without being smart. Just look at any tele-evangelist. They have charisma, but not too many have the intelligence enough to back it up.

Charisma, without a doubt.

You have to know how to deal with people in order to get the results that you want.
