You can download Ccleaner here : http://bit.ly/1t3jm44
To start with open Ccleaner
To make this concise, beneath is my suggested setup:
Under web pilgrim check provisional web documents, treats, and last download area. Most clients don't generally require this stuff. keep history and bookmarks unchecked, history is a possibly, however you would prefer not to lose bookmarked locales.
Run Ccleaner and it will begin erasing documents.
a while later it will give you an arrangement of the documents erased, you truly don't have to experience it as it will be a few pages long.
The registry cleaner is proposed for marginally more praiseworthy clients. Use it in the wake of uninstalling projects as they will regularly abandon erroneous registry sections.
In the event that you choose to run Registry cleaner then audit the things identified and constantly move down the registry (I keep an envelope aside for this)
The Tools tab gives you a chance to uninstall projects and set startup programs. Why do you require this if Windows has these peculiarities? Particularly with Vista Home Ed. The windows safeguard programming wayfarer( startup programs) doesn't get a few sections (however programming adventurer is less demanding to utilize).
Utilizing Ccleaner to uninstall projects and after that check for remaining registry passages takes less time.
Under Options you can decide how Ccleaner cleans your records. I allow this to sit unbothered.

The cheapest and easiest way to do it, is by adding RAM, Random Access Memory. There are other ways, but this is by far the cheapest and easiest, and most worth it. You should take your PC to a Best Buy, or similar place, and let them install it. It's easy to do, but if you're not familiar with hardware, best to let the pros do it.
That being said, have you run a disk cleanup and defrag lately? These system tools (found in start-programs-accessories-system tools) come with Windows, and are there to make your machine run smoother and faster. You won't see a huge difference, but it's very good for the computer. Good luck!

you could always upgrade your processor or bump up your ram.
if you can't buy the hardware for you're computer then i would recommend getting a good spy blocker try "spybot search and destroy" that's a good one. i think you can get it at download.com
also you want to check your computer for any viruses and other nasty programs that could be slowing it down. try www.trendmicro.com they have an on line viruses and malware program that works good.
remove all those built up programs that you don't need or use anymore. you can do that in the in the "add remove program" section of the control panel section of your computer click on the "start" at the bottom of your screen.
also you can go to the start button at the bottom of the screen and then go to "all programs" go to "accessories" and in "system tools you should find disk clean up, click it. one thing that slows a lot of computers down after time is all the system restore points that are saved in your computer.go to more options tab and then click on the system restore clean up button.
that's the best advice i can give for speeding up your computer short of reformatting your computer. that's what i did (reformat) because after a while you could do the steps above as much as you want and it won't help after long enough. but hopefully you don't have to do that yet.
oh yeah after your done doing that be sure to defragment you hard drive as well.
good luck. if your computer is to far gone you may have to take that last option

The cooler your computer runs, the faster it runs. Add fans, get a liquid coolant system, get more RAM, look into the jumper settings on your motherboard for overclocking. I'm running a 2.8 gHz processor at 3.3 right now, so it can be done.

Take it to a computer mechanic. Have him clean out all unneccesary programs. Should act faster. Or, sell your computer and get a $300 pentium 4 processor computer from Dell, very quick. Or, if youre a big spender, get an alienware computer and never have this problem again!

Get rid of spyware (spybot Search and Destroy, free), check to see you have no viruses (download Norton Antivirus Trial from here pack.google.com/), defragment your system (Start>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Defragmentor), Disk Clean up (found in the same place Defragmentor is found), LOWER VISUAL SETTINGS (Control Panel>Performence and Maintainence>Adjust Visual Effects). If you like your computer to look nice, you wouldn't like to lower your visual effects, and get rid of unneccessary programs running
Hope this helps

Format the hard drive and reinstall windows. Over time your PC collects all kinds of garbage. The best way to get your PC back to the state it was in when it was new is to erase everything out of it and start from scratch.
