we can make all the money we want and pay our debts. why not? we can make millions and billions, and give it away to all us citizens, why it cant be done, if we have a money machine?

You cant just print money to get out of debt... think about the concept of inflation... The dollar will be worthless....

You need to get an eduactation. If we print off money, the value of a dollar will go WAY down. Around the time of the depression that happened and bills were so worthless people used them as wallpaper.

If the earth was made of gold, gold would be worthless. Same idea can be applied to money.
Actually, our money is no longer backed by Gold. We stopped that in the 50s/60s (don't remember exactly).

The more money that is produced, the less it is worth. That is why the Euro is towering the USD right now. We are having to create more money which isn't helping our economy & causing inflation. This is no ones fault.

Because the money we print is backed by actual assets in Fort Knox. We don't print any more money than the U.S. actually owns in Fort Knox.
