It will depend on which degree you are seeking...and the authenticity of the University. There are some Universities that offer both on campus and online courses and degree programs. If a college or university has a degree program that is completely online, then you might not have to travel. I completed a master's degree in library science and by my own choice it was 75% online and 25% on campus. For the online classes, the testing was done online. The courses did not have any required meetings on campus that could not be worked around for various circumstances.

Sorry because there are many online "universities", but most are just schemes for them to be given a lot of money and you almost freely get a degree. Unfortunately, many of those types of "universities" even go as far as to make a phony accrediting agency just to back up their phony school, and even worse the poor people that get sucked into these scams who have gotten jobs based on their resume including their university coursework, are the one's being fired and put to shame. If I were you, I would inquire of physical, standing universities in my town or nearby about their having an entire online program, not just a selected few of online classes. If no, then research for physically standing universities other places about full online coursework that requires no traveling. The Bible says if you knock, the door will be opened. First ask universities you know and have heard about, then search state universities, which are all over the U.S.

I think University of Phoenix is 100% online , but you will likely be more satisfied if you have some classroom experience.

Do a search for "degree mill."

That's about the only way to do it without leaving the house.
