My new husband and I are taking a delayed three-day honeymoon in Missouri later this week. We are definitely stopping in Hannibal because I am a Mark Twain fan. Other than that, we would like to see some nice scenery and spend some quality time together. Any suggestions for us?

Go to Kansas City, Missouri- there's a lot of neat things to see. Try Union Station, Crown Center, Memorial Tower, the ***** League Hall of Fame, the Jazz Museum, World's of Fun, Ocean's of Fun, the Country Club Plaza, Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Truman Library, Truman's home, see the Steamboat Arabia in the City Market area. Be sure to eat at Arthur Bryant's BBQ or Gates BBQ.

This is from a personal and professional point of view(I am Owner of a Travel Agency and fellow traveller).

I obviously do not know if you're into shows or even Country music for that matter, but assuming you are, then Branson, Missouri comes highly recommended. Lots of places to shop, top-notch entertainment, and you're very close to Table Rock Lake(which offers excellent views as it is very mountainish--not Mt McKinley but not just some mere hills either. It's really the Lake that captures your attention more than anything else).

Kindly call, email me at: indysteve1563@yahoo.com, or reach me through Yahoo Messenger with your itinerary, and I wll be very happy to assist you with your Missouri travels.
