Rosie hid her sexuality for a while before she stepped out and gave us the bad news, was it a surprise, she looked pretty masculine to me.

it was important for Star Jones to disclose her weight loss because she wouldn't tell anybody how she lost the weight so fast at first..And u know how we nosy Americans are..Wanna be in everybody business..But in this situation, I think we (they cause i really don't give a ****) had a right to know something..i mean here u r a fat teddy bear than 2 days later u look like anorexic Annie..i think the public had a right 2 know something..Especially all the fat people that want the easy way out to lose weight.Also she said she almost died..i think she should of told her experience she went thru so other fat people won't make the same mistake

Star Jones said she dieted and excersized - which might have been true. But if she had gastic bypass that is the reason she was able to successfully drop so much weight - why lie to people saying you just cut your portions and started excersizing? Tell the truth and let them know you had the surgery and thats what really prompted your weight loss.

I don't think it was bad that she kept the way she lost weight to herself but I think more of the issue was that she acted like she did it on her own ... with natural measures, and that's just being fake .. and Rosie didn't hide her sexuality, she just didn't talk about it ..

It's only important now because she should have been upfront in the beginning about it, only because she's on television for all the world to see and speculate. If she would have just been honest, and she knew it would cause a scandal, then it wouldn't have been important.

No, Star had gastric bypass surgery. I don't know why she wanted to be so secretive about it.
