I think everyone should be broke first so that when and if they get rich they will appreciate what they have.

I believe it's better to be born poor and then get rich. That way you can appriciate what you have earned and not be too greedy. More often then not people that are born rich never appriciate what they have. I mean take a look at Hollywood. Half the kids that were born into rich family's are out of control.

There are plusses and minuses in both scenarios. Born Rich doesn't have to struggle to get rich, but then BR probably doesn't appreciate and enjoy their riches as much as BB. On the other hand, many BBs, once they have made some money, become obsessed with a fear of going back to being poor, and don't know when to stop making money - they live to make money instead of making money to live.

I think it is much more fulfilling to be born poor and work your way into becoming rich. To know you earned it will make you appreciate it.
However, very few people will ever become rich, no matter how hard they work. - So if you are born rich, you have more of a chance of being rich later in life. Its not fair - but its true.

Every body is born broke. No body is born rich. To be born to people with faith in god is best. And if riches of this world come to you after a struggle then chances are you may relish some of it and let your near and dear ones relish it too.

No one here can answer this question..unless they were born rich, went broke, then made a lot of money again.
I was born in the middle, made a tremendous amount of money, blew it all (very stupid, very common), then set about to make a bunch more...trust me, having had it, lost it, then getting it back makes money seem very different..this time around, I take care of it and do not intend to blow even a dime without a reason. It is just too hard to make more money. good luck

Its better to be born broke and working hard to make yourself rich. That way, you learn the value of things and how to appreciate all you have.

I agree with Red. It's better to be born poor and learn how to value what we have and what we work so hard for in life. My mom works for a rich family and it's amazing how they can just throw things in the trash "literally". I've collected 22 dollars in coins from their trips to the US this last year...

If you are poor, then get rich, you watch what you do with your money, If you are born rich you take it for granted, then next thing you know, you've spent it all, and don't have anymore
