being nice and polite with others,could it always lead to misunderstanding?

if this was your type of your personality,nice,polite and caring,might this allow some people to misunderstand you and and start taking an advantage of you?

Politeness must be authentic. Spice it up with some charm, humour and helpfulness and people will be drawn to you. Give it some time. Some people are just impolite and unappreciative of others. They do not believe that kindness should be reciprocal.

I am the type of guy who can see through a fake person. I am not suggesting by any means that you are this way, but when you have worked with people as much as I have, you just know. I refuse to buy art from a guy who is only after the hundreds or thousands of dollars my wife and I can afford to spend on it. That's why I buy off websites or from galleries. I like someone in a restaurant or gallery who knows their stuff, likes what they do, and enjoys people.

yes if your in prison,Well i was a long time ago barely turned 18.An i was polite an respectfull.Then i noticed that every time i went to canteen evry one was trying to take advatage of me>But the anwers to your ? is yes,there are alot of people who will claim to be your friend,an like you,but they dont an they take advantage of u.But the saddest thing about it they do it with a smile on there face.God knows your heart an the persons around u.Faces we see but hearts we dont.But dont change ,be your self.If some one takes adavatage of u let them answer to God.This happens every day to every body.Being nice polite an careing ,yes people will take advavtage of that.But not all people are evil,yes i said evil,in Gods eyes its evil.

Not always. But there are few cases where misunderstanding ensues from exhibiting the stated qualities. I am actually speaking/writing from experience, don't want to get into the whole story, but it can happen.

One can be polite and caring, and still be firm and assertive. People occasionally have misinterpreted my own gentle and courteous ways and TRIED to take advantage of me. Few have tried this a second time.

Certainly, but hopefully as these are all well rounded characteristics then you would also be smart enough and strong enough not to be taken advantage of. Not enough of these people in the world.

My oldest brother is a Gemini and he's what u defined. super guy. greater valuable, not many negatives. not that he's growing to be up he ultimately is drawn to a dating and merely have been given a GF who's that this way of candy heart. he's very familiar, alluring, high quality, FLIRTY, adventurous (traveled around the international), fairly the partier, hooked-up lots, playful, lively, exciting, good listener, increible shape, activities lover, loves childrens, needs kin while he's youthful so he can easily do stuff with them, type, and all around he's virtually the perfect guy.
