Hes been a superstar for ten long years.. who can we compare him to? The only Player i see that will be an NBA superestar for that long is Lebron James. Both he and Kobe are way ahead of the others, wade is a one hit wonder, AI has hit a ceiling,KGs desire is dwindling,T-mac is stuck in injuries, Vince is slipping,carmelo is beginning to bore people.. i mean, who else can we compare Kobe and James?
They will rule the NBA from now onwards..

I really don't think you can say he is the best player. You may be able to say he is the best small forward but there is no award for that. What there is an award for, however, is MVP and Steve Nash is the most recent MVP and has won it the past two years. Kobe can't seem to win one and obviously there are reasons why. Kobe is a good player but I don't think you can say one player is the best. There are different positions and they demand different skill sets.

Bryant is the best player now. He is a better defender than James and a much better outside shooter. Better all around game.
Wade does not have the outside shot, the defensive skills of Bryant.
That does not mean that the others will not eventually pass Bryant. But right now, nobody is even close. He can score at will, much easier than the others. He can shut down a person on defense. His only liability is he tends to get a little ball hoggish. But so do the others.

Theres nothing that Kobe cant do.Whether its scoring high in points,rebounds,assists,steels or even blocks. He's amazing and next year he will be even better if he keeps it up.

If you mean does Kobe have the best skills of any player in the NBA, I would say there is no one better then him.
However, if you mean, what player has the best all around game and can make their team win - I would give the nod to Lebron - his game continues to grow, and he seems to be more willing to change his game to fit his team's needs.
Dewayne Wade is also right up there

kobe is the most selfish player in the league. talent out of this world but that only gets you so far. sure you can score 81 if your the only 1 taking shots. every great team has a great 1 2 punch. but kobe doesnt want to share the spotlight. i respect his talent but he is only playing to pad his numbers and now of days i guess that is all the matters to some people

No. He is so selfish that he wants to be the only one on the team who makes plays. You don't see him passing to anyone.
He might be the best rapist in the NBA.
He certainly without question has the most massive ego in the NBA.
LeBron James is a better player and a better person. Even though Shaq is getting a bit long in the teeth, he is STILL a better player.
