good multiplayer games for the pc?

can u give me a list of a few games for the pc that are good to play online with others....

get command and conquer that game is really fun once you start playing and there tons of people on line to play with. and i got all my friends in to the game

Sure, there are lots. My favourite being Warlords Battlecry 3 because it's fun, varied and it spawns (spawns means for a lan party you only need one cd - it will load into multiplayer mode without the cd).

Unreal Tornament (and some fun mods) can be quite good fun if you prefer shooters to strategy games.

My brothers play Warcraft 3 a lot linked up and there's also the Internet linked World of Warcraft.

For war games ... smeg there's a really cool one that I forget the name of Dawn of War? ...

And not forgetting newer games, I'm sure Supreme Commander will be multiplayer too when it hits shelves next year.

Also, for RPG - try Neverwinter Nights and if the main quest is boring try some of the fullgame mods that will turn it into something more fun!

For online games - World of Warcraft and Ragnarok Online are the ones my friends play the most. I know there are others, hopefully some of the other question answerers can help you more ^___^

EDIT: Oh and Need for Speed is a good laugh with some mods if you like racing!!
