No, outside only.

There used to be a smoking lounge in each of the four terminals. But in 1998, the state legislature passed a new law banning all smoking in public buildings, including the airports.

There are no longer designated smoking areas inside the terminals. Smoking is permitted outside of the terminal only - 20 feet away from entrances, I believe. Many people smoke outside of the terminal on the lower level (arrival), there are benches you can sit on and it is covered. You can also smoke on the upper level (departure) if you like but you are more likely to find people in a rush to get inside the terminal.

You need to exit the terminal through security and step outside. You will then need to reenter and get cleared through security.

Security lines usually aren't too bad, so it shouldn't take more than a couple minutes--especially if you leave all your bags with someone inside the terminal.
