I just don't understand why all gay men act like women and all lesbians try to act like men.

Why do some 'christians' go against God and act contrary to Jesus' teachings by preaching hatred, bigotry and discrimination?

I just don't understand why some 'christians' act like they have never read "judge not" and any of the sayings of Jesus. WWJD?

Note that I did not generalize like you did. Everyone in a group is not exactly the same.

I totally agree with 'celticwoman777 "The better question might be why do any of us sin, which is contrary to what God wants us to do? I'm not a lesbian, but I know I have committed sexual sins. Let those who are without sin cast the first stones. Leave the judging to God."

I'm not a lesbian or bisexual as well but truly feel I don’t have to go against God to be politically correct. God's intention is God being a just God in which society more like goes against God by acting exactly the opposite of how the Creator intended.... Our creator intended that we love and He have no respect for 'NO man therefore He has no respect for the most popular culture group, religion, family, and/or friends but love for all.

You cannot say anyone is against God without knowing the nature of a relationship, one may assume; as you are being understood as the nature of the beast who always divide God’s people by personal misunderstanding the true knowledge of God.

I'm terribly sorry you feel this way.

I don't act like men. I'm probably one of the most girly people you'll meet and I'm still lesbian.

And how do you know what the "creator" intended? Because it says it in a book? There's no proof in the bible. If god really cared about orientation then wouldn't he/she make everyone either straight or gay? I really don't think it matters. Everyone is different.

Besides... doesn't god preach about love? Homosexuality goes far beyond lust. Yes... believe it or not, gay people DO fall in love.

So please stop with all the "you're going against god!!" thing. You're just wasting your energy.

Not all gay men "act like" women, and not all lesbians "act like" men. What does that mean, anyway? And how do YOU know what the Creator intended? Do you have a direct line to Him? Is He speaking in your ear? Have you ever heard that the Lord works in mysterious ways? Maybe this behavior that you don't understand is one of his mysterious ways. Live and let live! Honestly, don't you have more important things to worry about?

I've known gay men who are very masculine as well as those who are effeminate. I've also known very feminine lesbians and some masculine ones. As with any group you cannot paint them all with the same brush.

1. i don't try to act like a woman, and i'm gay. neither does my gay friend.
2. gay is not a choice.
3. god is a god of false love and false hope who deserves to die.
4. god didn't make us. i don't know who or what did, and i really don't care. there is nothing to gain from that knowledge. thus, it is useless.
5. if there were no homosexuals, then the world would be even more over populated. then we would either have to kill some people to make room, or give out a lot of birth control products.

Well I am a gay man that does not act like a woman. In fact a lot of gay men do not act like women. Your attention is drawn to that which appears out of place and then you sterotype them. THe new metrosexual guys are straight men who act like women.

I recomend you stop worrying about other people and start accepting the diversity of God's creation.

BTW I am a Christian and God has no problem wiht me being gay. In fact God is proud that I am willing to stand up for who i am even in the face of adversity.

For the same reason that heterosexuals do. Meaning, there are many people, both heterosexual and homosexual that go against God's Word (as stated in the Holy Bible, that is). Whether it is having sex out of wedlock, participating in homosexual relations, or cheating/lying to your fellow neighbor, we have all sinned and, therefore, do not have the right to judge and/or be hypocritical of others. Believe me, in no way am I excusing homosexuals for their behavior, beliefs, etc; nevertheless, I do feel that they are constantly being persecuted and JUDGE by those who do not have the devine right to do so. It is God that will judge us in the end. With that said, you may want to reconsider your position on the subject and instead of posting questions like this one do the next best thing: pray for them.

Define *acting* like a man? Because I like to play sports? But then, how would you explain my love of soap operas and the fact that my toenails are painted pink at the very moment? Or how I love to read a good novel? Or how I love to cook? Are all these masculine traits??? You are who you are. There are plenty of masculine gay men and feminine lesbians. As a matter of fact, I'm only attracted to feminine lesbians!

Just out of curiuosity, how do explain effeminate straight men and masculine straight women???

Your ignorance is astounding. I am bisexual. Of all the lesbians i have been with none have tryed to "act like men". We act how we want to act end of story. Gay men have the right to act how then want toit has nothing to do with acting like a woman its just how they are or how some are. I see strait men and women acting like the oposite sex all the time and nobody give a damn about them. As for the "creator" i dont inteand to act how anyone but me wants me to. I will be me regardless of how i am expected to act. If the "creator" didnt inteand for us to act the way we want to then why did he give us free will?
