Maybe it is dandruff.

You can ask for a shampoo to help this specific problem at the drugstore. Dandruff and fungus are two different matters. Dont try to overload your scalp with dandruff and fungus-shampoo at the same time - do it one at a time: you will have to shampoo every day for 14 - 30 days before you can see if this one helped.

If that doesnt help - go see a doctor

You have both dandruff and an oily scalp. The oil makes your head smell musky...nasty .. Wash your hair with blue shampoo daily, maybe twice a day. Cut back on your oil consumption. If that doesn't do it, you will just have to wash you hair as suggested. Some people have excess oil production and it does stink.

Go to a beauty supply store and buy a shampoo/scalp brush, (ask the salesperson to show you if you don't know what it looks like) they cost under $3.00, and buy some dandruff shampoo, use the scalp/shampoo brush to clean your scalp with the shampoo. You may need to wash it more than twice a week. Also wash your combs and brushes twice a week to keep them clean. Paul Mitchell makes a shampoo called Tea Tree, it is medicated but is made to sanitize the scalp and hair folicles.

The white stuff could be dandruff or dry scalp flakes so first you should try a shampoo for that which you can get at any drug store. You could also talk to the pharmacist about it and ask them what they reccomend. If that doesnt clear up I would see a dermatologist who could really diagnose what it is and perscribe something that will cure it. I wouldnt be too worried

Garnier Fructis smells great and is long lasting. Probably have dandruff. Try some Head N Shoulders for that.

Not fungus, its dandruff or dehemorritus. (cant spell the 2'd one)

If you use a dandruff shampoo (selson blue works wonders).

Also, it may be because you aren't rinsing the shampoo out of your hair completely and that can cause a buildup in your scalp.

it could be a fungus, if you tie your hair up when its wet, dont use any silicon based shempoo's and cond, that will also cause fungus. start using a anti dandruff for oily hair shampoo or some sort of stripping shampoo, it should help

LOL
Just use hair shampoo and use it the way it says on the bottle and wash your hair at least 2 times a week - not daily!
